My First Day at Kanha Makhan Public School

My first day at Kanha Makhan Public School was on April 1st. It was a very special and memorable day for me. When I left for school in the morning, I had mixed feelings—happiness, excitement, and a little bit of nervousness.

As soon as I reached the school, I found the atmosphere very welcoming. Our teachers welcomed all the children by applying a tilak on our foreheads, which made me feel a little more comfortable. However, being in a new environment among new people, I felt a bit uneasy. When I left my parents, I started crying on the bus. Even after reaching school, I remained emotional for a while because everything felt new and unfamiliar.

Fun Activities on the First Day

Several exciting activities were organized for us at school. One of the activities involved placing a colored handprint next to our name on the board. My hands were covered in blue paint, so I pressed my entire hand onto the board, leaving a blue handprint. It was a fun experience!

Additionally, I received a purple balloon, which I happily took home.

I Am Getting Attached to My School

Gradually, I am getting used to the school environment. The biggest support in this transition has come from my parents and my class teacher, Ms. Lalita Ma’am. They comforted me with love and care and helped me feel at ease at school.

Now, I really like my school and feel happy to be here. I believe that in the coming days, this school will become my second home, where I will learn, play, and make new friends.
